January 23, 2020 Business, Fleet Management Roadside survey results for Vehicle Excise Duty evasion statistics: 2019 The DfT latest estimates indicate that 1.6% of vehicles in the active vehicle stock were unlicensed in the United Kingdom. This 1.6% corresponds to 634,000 thousand vehicles. It is estimated that there are 14 million grey fleet vehicles on Britain’s roads. Which equates to 1.6% of the UK’s grey fleet or 224,000 business vehicles could potentially be untaxed. Please click on graphic for full report
