Twelve months on since Palatine-backed TTC Group completed its bolt-on acquisition and the landscape for fleet driver compliance is a ‘very different place’ according to Licence Bureau.
Less than a week on from the strategic acquisition (11 March 2020) which saw TTC Group broaden its corporate fleet customer base and further strengthen its compliance capability within its proprietary technology platform, Continuum, the UK entered Lockdown 1.0 (16 March 2020) in its response to the escalating Covid-19 pandemic.
As a result, road travel plummeted by as much as 80%, to levels not seen since 1955 as people were told to ‘stay at home’.
TTC Group CEO Jim Kirkwood said, “Our acquisition of Licence Bureau came immediately prior to our lives being turned upside down – undoubtedly the past 12 months will go down in history as one of the most influential periods on business driving ever.
“The adoption of mass home working; the introduction and ongoing use of furlough; and the ongoing changes in transport behaviours have all had profound implications on business risk management and compliance.”
Despite the challenges, bringing Licence Bureau under the TTC Group umbrella has created synergies which are proving of benefit to fleet customers.
Licence Bureau’s compliance journey is now integrated into TTC Group’s real time risk management platform TTC Continuum providing clients with a holistic and, crucially, remote solution to compliance; risk; and learning.
