safe drivingForeign drivers driving in the UK on business is Cardinus Risk Management’s health and safety forum for managers with responsibility for occupational road risk. It will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 4th December, 2012 at 107 Leadenhall St, London EC3A 4AF. Click to open your invitation.

More people than ever before are coming to the UK and driving for business and some of those people work for your organisation. Driving overseas can be very different to driving in the UK. Significantly different traffic levels, junction complexity and road design are all factors that British drivers take for granted but create higher risks for drivers visiting from other countries. It is your responsibility to manage those risks effectively.

Developing a greater understanding of all the risks and legal responsibilities, together with implementing practical procedures, will significantly reduce the risks to both the employee and the employer.

Cardinus Risk Management is hosting this free-to-attend forum at which Malcolm Maycock Licence Bureau’s MD will be talking on issues surrounding driver licence verification. The forum will look at all the risks and legal implications. By attending, you will increase your knowledge and be better able to protect your overseas employee driving in the UK on business.

To book your place at the free-to-attend Foreign drivers driving in the UK on business forum call 01733 426015 or email fleet@cardinus.com.
