We are now receiving a number of requests from customers undertaking risk assessments on their suppliers.
What we do?
Licence Bureau is the UK’s number 1 supplier of driving licence verification however it also supplies additional services for the verification of vehicle documents, online employee audit, online, classroom and in vehicle training.
Therefore, the majority of our work is online with a heavy dependency on government suppliers such as the DVLA.
What we have in place
General health advice and cleaning materials have been supplied to all staff.
Our offices are split into 3 and we are now adapting so staff from each office utilise their space only.
We also have readiness for our teams to work off site if necessary, to continue our services.
Our Suppliers
Our IT systems are supported by our internal team although we use data centres for your portal (CMS) access. We see this as a low risk at present.
In respect of our suppliers, DVLA are the main source and again this is IT led. We see this as a low risk.
So, what are the risks to our service?
We believe the risk to our service is minimal as the majority of the work we undertake is online digital processing. In the main the only exceptions, to the online process, are the verification of documents where our employee’s expertise is required.
Where we undertake manual interventions, in the event of a severe outbreak there is a possibility of delays.
The provision of classroom and in vehicle training services will depend on the severity of the outbreak.
We hope this provides reassurance and will continue to monitor the situation daily.
