Licence Bureau has launched a Right to Work validation solution to help employers avoid the risk of £20k fines for employing illegal workers.
Particularly aimed at fleets, the new scheme will be available online through its Compliance Managed Services web tool and is relevant to UK companies who work in sectors where migrant workers drive company vehicles, particularly commercial vehicles as part of their daily work.
To offer this new service Licence Bureau has teamed up with NSL Validation Solutions, which manages complex outsourced services to UK central and local government and the NHS.
The partnership allows Licence Bureau to promote secure right to work checks to its corporate customers within 24 hours of an employer’s details being submitted., while NSL will offer a driver licence verification service to its customers.
Malcolm Maycock, managing director of Licence Bureau said: ‘Through our NSL partnership we can provide an additional level of care and legal compliance for our customers through our right-to-work documentation validation service. This will ensure companies only employ people who have the right-to-work in the UK, which for many corporate fleets can be a challenge.’

It will allow us to offer additional checking services and will assist our clients to keep in compliance with new immigration laws, which will see driving licence entitlement withdrawn when a UK residence permit is not granted.’
