Risk Assessment on-line driver assessment and e-learning

Home > News > Risk Assessment on-line driver assessment and e-learning

Is the next step in our end to end duty of care for drivers-at-work.

With a flexible, online driver assessment and training system that is quickly and easily deployed to ensure compliance with UK Health and Safety Law.

In order to produce a manageable personal risk profile which is both accurate and thorough, we assess each candidate in three distinct areas:

Knowledge, Attitude and Skill

  • Assess a drivers Knowledge – 20 random questions extracted from the Highway Code with feedback after each question.
  • Assess a drivers Attitude – driver is asked to consider their driving over the past 12 months and give feedback on statements.
  • Assess a drivers Skills – using the latest 3D graphics and HD video on hazard awareness and reflection.

The assessment delivers remedial e-learning modules based on the risk profile of each driver so eliminating the critical time between identification of need and provision of remediation.

Following the assessment which takes approximately 30 minutes and does not need to be completed in one go, each candidate will immediately be presented with at least 20 remedial e-learning modules to address areas of weakness identified by the assessment. This eradicates the critical time between identification of need and provision of education.

Risk Assessment has been designed to target the fleet vehicle driver or those who drive either their own vehicle, hire car, pool car or are occasional drivers.

The data from the assessment provides a robust audit trail and comprehensive risk profile

This ensures employers are in a much better position to decide which type of corrective education and training to utilise.

Risk Assessment uses the latest in CGI animation and hi-definition video footage to create an interactive and engaging experience for users. Not only will your staff be completing mandatory compliance, they will also be gaining valuable skills on topics such as eco driving, journey planning and dealing with distractions; all of which are designed to make them better, safer drivers. There are 20 e-learning modules available, the system can be set to make any or all compulsory to all drivers if required. The system will use the answers the driver has provided in their on-line assessment to suggest the e-learning modules best suited to the individual.

The e-learning modules are listed below:

  • Safety margins
  • Anticipation and Hazard Awareness
  • Motorways
  • Conditions
  • Share the Road
  • Mobile Phones
  • Frustrations
  • Fatigue
  • Journey Planning
